Key skills for the job
A hotel manager's responsibilities include:
Overseeing the front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage services, and other departments
Recruiting, training, and supervising staff, including front desk clerks, housekeepers, and maintenance workers
Addressing guest complaints and concerns, and ensuring guests receive the highest level of service
Managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and setting and monitoring financial goals
Promoting and marketing the business, and implementing marketing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue
Ensuring the hotel is safe and compliant with licensing laws, health and safety, and other regulations
Planning and implementing capital improvements, such as renovations, upgrades, or expansions
Building and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients
Minimum 5 years of experience of working in the hospitality industry.
Have worked in Goa for at least 2 years.
