Health & Safety Trainer For Wind Energy Sector

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct safety training programs for wind energy sector employees on various topics such as fire safety, first aid, industrial safety, and EHS (Environmental Health & Safety).

• Develop and deliver customized training materials to meet specific industry requirements.
  
• Conduct regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.

• Provide guidance on workplace safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with management teams to develop effective emergency response plans.

• As an EHS Trainer at Eduforce, you will play a crucial role in enhancing workplace safety through comprehensive training programs, specifically tailored for the wind energy sector. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting Training Sessions: Deliver engaging and informative training sessions on health and safety, encompassing both theoretical knowledge and practical applications relevant to the wind energy sector.

• Developing Training Materials: Create and update training materials to ensure they are current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards, particularly focusing on:

• Basic Technical Training (BTT) including Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Installation aspects.

• Work at height and rescue.

• First aid, confined space, manual handling, and fire awareness.

• Providing Practical Demonstrations: Effectively demonstrate practical safety procedures to ensure participants can apply their learning in real-world scenarios.

• Course Management: Manage and organize training sessions, ensuring they run smoothly and meet the educational objectives.

• Feedback and Improvement: Collect feedback from participants and continuously improve training programs based on their input and evolving industry standards.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to enhance the quality and effectiveness of training programs.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 1-3 years of experience in health & safety training or a related field.
  
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices in the renewable energy sector.
  
• Excellent communication skills for effective presentation delivery.
  
• Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and develop targeted training solutions.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Health & Safety and NEBOSH certification is required.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: Proven experience in safety training and creating training materials. Prior experience in the EHS field, specifically in the wind energy sector, is advantageous.
• Skills: Excellent communication and training skills with the ability to effectively demonstrate practical safety procedures.
• Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
