Video Editor - Wedding Industry

• We are looking for a talented and motivated Video Editor to join our team and bring life to wedding films by creating stunning visuals that reflect the essence of the celebrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished wedding films, ensuring a seamless narrative flow that tells the story of the couples special day.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand the desired style and feel of each wedding video.
• Enhance video content with music, sound effects, transitions, and visual effects.
• Color grade and adjust video clips to maintain consistency and create cinematic quality.
• Organize and manage video footage efficiently to meet deadlines for project delivery.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to meet client expectations.
• Ensure that all edited content meets company standards and is delivered on time.
• Provide creative input during the editing process, offering suggestions to improve the final product.
• Keep up with the latest trends in video editing, techniques, and wedding industry standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in video editing, particularly in the wedding industry or similar fields.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
• Experience with motion graphics and color grading.
• Strong creative vision and ability to work within a team to bring the clients vision to life.
• Knowledge of audio editing and mixing is a plus.
• Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, and the importance of emotion in wedding videos.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards for video quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• A portfolio showcasing previous wedding video editing work is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of social media platforms and understanding of video content requirements for various formats.
• Experience in drone video editing and 360-degree video editing.
• Knowledge of basic photography principles is a plus.
