Job Description:

- Our client is a global financial services company that focuses on delivering a range of investment management solutions. It offers services in asset management, including portfolio management and advisory, aimed at both institutional and individual investors.

- They are actively seeking experienced individuals for a VP role - Controls to lead oversight and coordination of risk and control frameworks within the Finance Controller team.

- This role involves ensuring a standardized approach to risk management, fostering a strong risk and control culture, and collaborating with senior leadership to drive strategic decision making.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Implementing and embedding controls.

- Support and guide first line of Defence.

- Lead and deliver Risk Frameworks.

- Key Stakeholder Engagement.

- Assessment of Financial processes and controls.

- Data Governance.

- Project Delivery.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant.

- 15+ years of relevant experience in finance, risk management, or financial controls (SOX/internal audits).

- Additional risk qualifications or certifications are a plus.

- Good understanding and interpretation of Risk Framework and policies.

- Has worked on first line of defence.

- Proven ability to influence decision-making at senior levels.

- Experience in report writing and documentation.

- Knowledge of industry best practices related to processes, risks, and controls.

- Excellent leadership, planning, and organizational skills.

- Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
