Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Progress 4GL Developer with ADM skills to join our dynamic team at Echo Managed Service. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid work environment and be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications using the Progress 4GL language and ADM framework.

As a Progress 4GL Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and support of web-based applications, leveraging WebSpeed, HTML, and JavaScript for frontend development. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, high-quality solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Progress 4GL and the ADM (Application Development Management) framework.
• Work on WebSpeed to build and maintain responsive web applications.
• Implement clean, maintainable, and optimized code in HTML and JavaScript for seamless frontend integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver efficient, scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, bugs, and enhancements.
• Adhere to best coding practices, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code.
• Ensure the stability and performance of the application by identifying and fixing performance bottlenecks.

Primary Skills:

• Expertise in Progress 4GL and hands-on experience with the ADM framework.
• Strong experience in WebSpeed for building and maintaining web applications.
• Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript for frontend development and integration.

Secondary Skills (Preferred):

• Familiarity with OpenEdge technologies.
• Knowledge of Salesforce and Savvion will be a plus.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Progress 4GL, ADM, and web-based technologies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a self-motivated approach to work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiar with Agile development processes and able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively.
