• Secondary Skills: OpenEdge, Salesforce, Savvion (knowledge is a plus)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with strong skills in Progress 4GL, Webspeed, HTML, and JavaScript to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in the software development field, with a focus on Progress 4GL and Webspeed technologies.

As a Software Developer, you will work as part of a dynamic offshore development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, as well as performing unit and integration testing to ensure the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Progress 4GL, Webspeed, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with the team on designing solutions to meet client requirements.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure the functionality and reliability of the developed software.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications.
• Work closely with other developers to ensure seamless integration of systems and technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for coding and development.
• Ensure that software meets the quality and performance standards set by the company and clients.

Required Skills:

• Progress 4GL development experience, including work with Webspeed for web application development.
• Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript for front-end development.
• Experience with OpenEdge for application development and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and offshore development processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred (Secondary) Skills:

• Experience with Salesforce.
• Knowledge of Savvion (Business Process Management).

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in software development.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
