Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Manual Tester with 2-5 years of experience to enhance our software testing processes. This role involves manual testing, test automation, load testing using JMeter, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of web application testing, the product life cycle, and test management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Conduct end-to-end manual testing of web and mobile applications, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter to assess system stability under varying conditions.
• Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
• Contribute to creating and maintaining automation scripts using tools like Selenium (optional but preferred).
• Participate in sprint planning and Agile/Scrum meetings to ensure quality coverage in each development cycle.
• Ensure comprehensive test documentation, including test results, defect reports, and performance metrics.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements:

• Education: B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in manual testing with exposure to automation testing.
• Strong experience in writing and executing detailed test scripts and test cases.
• Proficiency with JMeter for load and performance testing.
• In-depth understanding of web application testing and product life cycle phases.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail).
• Familiarity with API testing and tools such as Postman (optional but a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Hands-on experience with Selenium or other automation testing tools.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Basic knowledge of SQL to perform database testing and validation.
• Exposure to security and compatibility testing for web applications.
