Purchase Officer

**Only applicants residing in South Delhi will be shortlisted for interview.

Looking for a motivated individual who is willing to step up and take responsibility of handling all tasks related to purchase of export material & goods.

• Coordinate & Maintain relationship with Suppliers for latest prices of items, and keep information system up to date.
• Issue purchase orders to suppliers. And maintain regular follow up on status of production of goods, tracking orders issued & deliveries.
• Coordinate with packing staff to receive feedback on quality of items received, monitoring of inventory levels. and ensure packaging/product standards are being followed & implemented as per guidelines.
• Chart out planning for confirmed export order. Involves estimating time of delivery of goods at warehouse, time involved for packaging, dispatch date of cargo. Review estimated dates vs. actual date of tasks completed.
• Ability to research on a new product, learn & gather information from market by getting in touch with new suppliers to fulfil potential export order enquiry. Actively enquire market for better supplies & rates (may involve out of office field market exploration as in when required)
• Maintain day-to-day reporting to directors on status of all orders.

**Candidate with experience in the following will be given high preference:

- Export Documentation

- Religious Puja Items or Stainless Steel Kitchenware industry

- NetSuite ERP

- Good computer knowledge/communications skills
