- Architects work closely with clients to ensure that their vision is translated into the final design
- Project Management: Overseeing all phases of a construction project, from initial concept and design through construction and final occupancy
- Architects manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Site Analysis: Evaluating the site where the construction project will take place, considering factors such as topography, environmental impact, zoning regulations, and utilities
- Building Codes and Regulations: Ensuring that designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and zoning laws
- Architects obtain necessary permits and approvals
- Material Selection: Selecting appropriate building materials and finishes based on the project's requirements, budget, and sustainability goals
- Construction Oversight: Collaborating with contractors, engineers, and construction teams to monitor the construction process, address issues that arise, and ensure the project stays on track
