Job Description
We're looking for a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, AWS cloud infrastructure, and experience with containerization, orchestration, and automation tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS and on Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications and services
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS codebuild, github actions or other automation tools
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or other IaC tools
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application issues using AWS CloudWatch, OpenObserve, and other monitoring tools
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and AWS security standards
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation and deployment using languages like Python or Bash
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Participate in on-call rotations for production support and provide timely resolution of issues
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, VPC and more.
- Experience with containerization using Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like AWS Codebuild and github actions.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch, OpenObserve or other tools.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance standards like HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or SOC 2
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of other cloud providers like Azure, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud
