Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Monitor financial performance against goals and adjust strategies as necessary.
Financial Reporting:

- Prepare detailed financial analysis and present results to the executive team and board of directors.
- Establish robust reporting mechanisms to facilitate transparency and accountability across the organization.
Risk Management:

- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard organizational assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement risk mitigation strategies effectively.
Compliance and Regulation:
- Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations and ensure the organization's compliance with applicable laws and standards.
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory requirements and ensure adherence to ethical practices.
- Oversee audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting standards.
Team Leadership:
- Provide vision, leadership, and guidance to the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor team members, ensuring their professional growth and alignment with organizational goals.
- Promote innovation and efficiency within the team through process improvements and technology adoption.
Strategic Planning:
- Play a key role in the development and execution of the organization's overall strategic plan.
- Evaluate the financial implications of strategic initiatives and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment with organizational priorities.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Effectively communicate financial performance, strategies, and plans to diverse audiences.
- Represent the finance function in meetings and negotiations with key stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: MBA in Finance from a Tier 1 institute or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- Certifications: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or other relevant professional certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Proven track record of success in a senior finance role, with significant experience in financial management, planning, and analysis.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and financial markets.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis tools.
Leadership:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a finance team.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills with a strategic mindset.
Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
