UI/UX Designer (in-person)

About the Role

e-Xposures Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our innovative team in Kochi, Kerala. Native Malayalam speakers with a good command of the English language preferred.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with business analysts, marketing team, developers, and technical teams to deliver top-notch, visually engaging, and user-friendly interfaces. This is an in-office position requiring hands-on experience with Figma and other design tools, ensuring adherence to industry standards and accessibility guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaboration: Work alongside business analysts, UI developers, and technical teams to define and implement creative and functional design solutions.
• Research & Branding: Evaluate brand identity, conduct initial research on industry trends, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Wireframes & Prototypes: Collaborate with business analysts to create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and clickable prototypes for presentations and testing.
• User Interface Design: Develop intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing UI designs for all devices, incorporating layouts, components, typography, color theory, and imagery.
• Accessibility & Multilingual Design: Design with accessibility standards and multi-language support in mind.
• Style Guides: Create and maintain comprehensive UI patterns and style guides to ensure consistency across projects.
• Developer Support: Provide necessary assets, communicate design expectations, and assist developers in achieving seamless UI implementation.
• Testing & Review: Review developed screens to ensure they align with design specifications and work toward resolving defects.
• Best Practices: Establish, promote, and adhere to UI design guidelines and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of core UI design experience. Preference will be given to candidates experienced in designing complex solutions for digital environments.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Figma is mandatory (We rely heavily on Figma for design workflows).
• Expertise with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is mandatory
• Familiarity XD is a plus.
• Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is an advantage.
• Knowledge of UI design principles, responsive design, and mobile-first design approaches.
• Experience in designing with accessibility standards and multilingual considerations.

• Passion for staying updated on design trends and sharing knowledge with the team.
