EC-Council University (ECCU) is a degree-granting Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) that operates under the parent company EC-Council, the largest professional training and certification body in Information Security. ECCU courseware and curricula is nationally accredited by DEAC and recognized by CHEA, NICE and CNSS to meet the national standards of cyber security education. Job Title: eLearning Developer (Junior)

Job Description:

We are looking for an eLearning Developer (Junior) with foundational experience in eLearning development as the primary focus and basic knowledge of Canvas LMS administration. Proficiency in tools like Articulate Storyline and Rise is essential. This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of experience in eLearning development and LMS support, eager to grow and expand their skills in eLearning technology. Basic web development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript would be an added advantage.

Location: Onsite, Mumbai (Andheri)

Working Days: 5 days a week, 9 hours per day

Responsibilities:

1. eLearning Development Support
• Develop course content using eLearning tools like Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Ensure compatibility and functionality of course materials within Canvas LMS and troubleshoot issues.
2. Canvas LMS Support and Administration
• Assist in the daily operations and basic administration of Canvas LMS, including user accounts and role permissions.
• Help set up and manage course materials, assignments, and instructional resources.
• Provide support and guidance to users, assisting with technical issues and basic troubleshooting.
3. Data and Analytics Assistance
• Generate reports on course activity and user engagement, providing data insights for improvements.
• Support data analysis efforts to enhance LMS engagement.
4. Basic Web Development for LMS Customization
• Assist in LMS customization and branding using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as needed.
• Support minor adjustments or integrations to improve the Canvas LMS user experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Educational Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in eLearning development, with some exposure to Canvas LMS.
• Proficiency in Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web page development.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in eLearning development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or internship in educational technology or a related field.
• Knowledge of eLearning standards like SCORM.
• Basic analytical skills with some experience in using LMS reporting tools.
