Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) for all construction projects.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns to avoid penalties and interest charges.
• Conduct internal audits to identify areas for improvement in GST processes and procedures.
• Provide guidance on GST documentation requirements to clients and team members.
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual statutory audits related to GST.
• Collaborate with the finance, and legal departments to ensure seamless tax operations and compliance.
• Train and mentor junior team members on GST processes and compliance.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 12-20 years of experience in GST Filing, returns, compliance, reconciliation, audit, and assessment, preferably in a construction projects industry setting.
  
• Masters degree in Commerce (M.Com), Chartered Accountancy (CA) or similar
  
• Strong knowledge of GST laws, regulations, and procedures; ability to interpret complex legislation effectively.
