Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Engineer for Sanctions Embargo screening squad. This position is with Corporate Bank - Transaction Surveillance Technology area. Transaction Surveillance Technology is an integral part of Cash Management and has been established as a first line of defense function to build appropriate controls to ensure regulatory compliance. The Sanctions and Embargo screening is a service within Transaction Surveillance, which provides near real-time, automated screening of transactions to ensure Anti Financial Crime compliance of the Deutsche Bank group and its various businesses.

To strengthen our development team, we are looking for Senior Java engineer that can lead the engineering teams, provide design governance technical leadership across the team.

You would be working on an inhouse built system critical for payment flows that protects the Bank and its customers from financial crime. The system has High Availability requirements as well as High Throughput and Low latency requirements, all the while ensuring low operational costs and adherence to the Banks software development standards.Good understanding of system design is highly beneficial to ensure proper low-level decisions.
