Electrical Design Engineer

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. B.E./B.Tech (Electricals); M.E./M.Tech (Electricals) - desirable
2. Reviewing the drawings & layouts in software such as E3D, AutoCad, DiaLux for Electrical related deliverables is a must.
3. Crystal clear knowledge of core subjects related to Electrical Engineering 
4. Experience in Electrical Engineering Design in the Projects relating to Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Power, Oil & Gas.
5. Candidates who have worked in Electrical Engineering Consultancy firms providing services to the EPC sector in the above-mentioned verticals, would be ideal for this position

Main Responsibilities:

1. Main work & responsibility shall be reviewing (must) & preparation (desirable) of following electrical engineering deliverables.
2. 3D & 2D Cable Tray routing: UG & OG, SS, field equipment, utility equipment, PCC room, MCC room, EHV, HT & LT, busduct, streetlights, switchyard, overall plant area, etc. Expert review knowledge in E3D must. 
3. 3D Equipment layout: SS, PCC, HT, LT, MCC, switchyard, overall plant area, etc.
4. 3D & 2D Earthing layout: SS, field equipment, utility equipment, PCC room, MCC room, HT & LT rooms, switchyard, overall plant area, etc.
5. 3D & 2D Lighting layout: SS, field equipment, utility equipment, PCC room, MCC room, HT & LT rooms, streetlights, switchyard, overall plant area, etc. 
6. SLD: SS, HT panel, LT panel, PCC panel, APFC panel, ACDB, DCDB, etc.
7. Specification & Datasheet: Transformer, Motor, PCC & MCC panels, HT & LT cable, VFD, DB, Bus duct, UPS, LCS, Gland, Cable tray, etc. 
8. Calculation: Load calculation, HT & LT Cable sizing, Earthing calculation, Transformer & DG sizing, UPS sizing, Lighting calculation, etc.
9. BOQ of electrical supply & installation.
10. TBA/TBE: Transformer, Motor, PCC & MCC panels, HT & LT cable, HT & LT panels, APFC panel, ACDB, DCDB, VFD, DB, Bus duct, UPS, LCS, Gland, Cable tray, etc. 
11. Misc documentation: ITP, QAP, Design Basis, Project Specifications, Material requisition, etc.
12. Coordination with client, inter-department, vendors for clarification and input/output deliverables.
13. Procurement assistance & project management related work.
14. Inter department coordination for input and outputs.
15. Inspection & testing at vendor's place. 
16. Site support for overall EPC project execution. 
17. Visiting customer, vendor's plant/office, site for expediting. 
18. Effective Communication Skills.
