ETL Automation Tester - Selenium/Selenium (3-6 yrs)

We are seeking a skilled ETL Automation Tester with a strong background in Data Warehouse (DWH) and SQL to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and executing test automation frameworks for ETL processes. They should possess in-depth knowledge of database concepts, strong SQL querying skills, and experience in Data Warehouse environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for ETL processes to ensure data quality and accuracy.

- Validate data transformation logic, data loading processes, and data flows between systems.

- Collaborate with ETL developers, business analysts, and data engineers to understand data requirements and ensure test coverage.

- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and integrity checks in Data Warehouse environments.

- Write complex SQL queries to validate ETL jobs, data models, and transformations.

- Conduct root cause analysis of data discrepancies and provide detailed defect reports.

- Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks.

- Participate in the planning and execution of testing activities, including test case development and execution, and regression testing.

- Work in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality test deliverables.

- Report and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar.

Required Skills :

- 4+ years of experience in ETL testing and automation.

- Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse (DWH) concepts, architecture, and data modeling.

- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation and extraction.

- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or equivalent.

- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks for ETL (e.g., Selenium, Apache JMeter, Python).

- Experience working with large datasets and data migration projects.

- Strong understanding of data transformation and data integration processes.

- Knowledge of database systems like Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.

- Familiarity with reporting tools and dashboards such as Tableau, Power BI is a plus.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git) and experience integrating test automation in CI/CD pipelines.
