TMS Global are a wholly owned subsidiary of DS Smith PLC, a FTSE100 listed multi-national packaging and display manufacturing business. TMS Global specialise in the outsourcing of retail display, print and packaging and are active in 97 markets globally. Our TMS community consists of just over 300 people who are spread internationally across APAC, LATAM, EMEA and NA.
About the role
We re looking for a Packaging Team Lead to join our Shared Service Centre in Gurgaon. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who s passionate about packaging and loves leading teams. You ll manage a group of talented Data Technicians and Client Operations specialists, making sure everything runs smoothly, and tasks are delivered on time and to a high standard.
You ll work closely with global teams and play a key role in supporting both Design & Innovation and Client Operations. You ll also play an important role in improving processes, increasing efficiency, and managing key projects.
Some daily responsibilities will include-
- Leading and mentoring the team to deliver accurate work on time.
- Keeping an eye on performance, using KPIs to measure progress, and updating stakeholders.
- Supporting your team s growth with training and feedback to help them develop their skills.
- Working with the Head of Shared Service Centre to find ways to make processes more efficient.
- Helping European teams with strategic projects and day-to-day operations.
- Supporting automation efforts like Readsoft to make workflows faster and smoother
- Proficiency in design tools and SAP, with advanced Excel skills.
About you
We re looking for someone who s great at managing teams, comfortable with D&I tools and systems, and always looking for ways to improve how things work. You ll need to be proactive, organised, and confident in leading people. Strong skills in SAP and advanced Excel are essential, along with basic knowledge of Adobe Suite, Photoshop, and technical drawings.
