Key Responsibilities.
CPQ Development & Implementation :.
Design and implement Salesforce CPQ solutions, ensuring scalability and alignment with best practices..
Customize CPQ features, such as product bundles, pricing rules, discount structures, and quote generation..
Integrate Salesforce CPQ with other Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Sales, Service) and third-party systems..
Technical Leadership :.
Lead and mentor a team of developers, conducting code reviews and fostering technical excellence..
Define and enforce technical standards, coding guidelines, and best practices..
Collaborate with architects and cross-functional leads to ensure the integrity and consistency of CPQ implementations..
Project Management :.
Partner with project managers to estimate work effort, define timelines, and allocate resources..
Conduct technical design sessions and document solutions aligned with business objectives..
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication and alignment..
Troubleshooting & Support :.
Provide technical support and resolve CPQ-related issues efficiently..
Monitor solution performance and scalability, optimizing where necessary..
Ensure compliance with security protocols and corporate policies..
Continuous Improvement :.
Stay updated with Salesforce CPQ releases, features, and industry best practices..
Identify and implement process improvements for Salesforce CPQ operations..
Mentor junior developers, promoting their professional growth and development..
Qualifications.
Experience :.
5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including at least 3 years specializing in Salesforce CPQ..
Proven experience leading end-to-end Salesforce CPQ implementations..
Technical Skills.
Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and declarative development tools..
Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs..
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data modeling, and security..
Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices..
Certifications.
Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist (Required)..
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II (Preferred)..
Additional certifications such as Application Architect or System Architect are a plus..
Leadership & Communication.
Demonstrated leadership experience, with a proven ability to mentor and manage development teams..
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders..
Education.
