Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modeler to design and optimize data models that support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. This role involves working closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to create data models that align with
enterprise standards and business requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong data modeling expertise, an understanding of relational and dimensional modeling, and experience with modern data modeling tools.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) for various business applications.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into optimized data structures.

- Work closely with database administrators and developers to implement data models and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

- Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and documentation for data models.

- Apply data normalization, denormalization, and other modeling techniques to meet performance and data integrity needs.

- Ensure data models adhere to company standards for data governance, security, and privacy.

- Optimize data structures for performance, scalability, and data integrity across data warehousing and analytics platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Data Modeling : Strong experience with data modeling techniques, including relational and dimensional modeling.

- Database Design : Proficiency in database design and SQL, with a solid understanding of database management systems.

- Data Modeling Tools : Hands-on experience with tools such as ER/Studio, ERwin, or similar data modeling software.

- Data Management : Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management principles.

Additional Skills :

- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and data warehousing solutions.

- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration practices.

- Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases, is a plus.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

- Excellent communication skills for effectively collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Relevant certifications in data modeling or data management.

- Experience with data lake and data warehouse design, particularly in cloud environments.

- Exposure to business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
