Sr. Draughtsman - Mechanical

• We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Draughtsman to join our team
• The successful candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for mechanical components and systems
• This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to interpret and translate engineering specifications into accurate drawings
• The Mechanical Draughtsman will collaborate closely with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that designs meet project requirements and standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for mechanical components, equipment, and systems using CAD software
• Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and sketches to produce accurate and precise drawings
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives
• Revise and modify drawings based on feedback from engineers and stakeholders
• Ensure that drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications
• Maintain drawing files, documentation, and records in an organized manner
• Assist in the preparation of material lists, cost estimates, and other project documentation as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work and meet project deadlines
• Stay updated on advancements in CAD software and industry best practices
