Job Description


Role & responsibilities

  • Generate Sales for Reefer containers revenue through independently growing existing account lines and soliciting new customers.
  • Present and sell reefer container solutions to potential clients, highlighting key benefits and features of the product.
  • Develop business and achieve target in line with the sales plan to move the volume of Reefer containers for the assigned territory
  • Identify and reach out to potential customers in need of all types of containers and send to targeted sectors across Goodrich Logistics group
  • Proactively maximize and manage volumes, revenue and margins in order to deliver optimal results.
  • Established strong relationships with major accounts and key decision-makers to increase sales in designated territory.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and networking etc
  • Keep a track record of the market and find strategies to increase conversions and volumes in the NVOCC industry
  • Report sales activity, generated sales quotations, RFQs and proposals and maintained customer contact database to achieve sales objectives
  • Generate new sales for through Sea Freight and move company's containers
  • Keep a track record of the market and find strategies to increase conversions and volumes
  • Negotiate prices and terms of sale with customers.
  • Achieving targets by convincing customers for best freight rates and ensuring timely collection as per the process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Provide exceptional after-sales service and support.
  • Understanding the current market trends, industry regulations, pricing dynamics, and global trade patterns.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of reefer containers, including their specifications, features, and benefits.
  • should know appropriate temperature conditions and the most efficient logistics solutions for their perishable products. Provide expertise on industry-specific regulations related to food safety, pharmaceuticals, or other temperature-sensitive goods.
  • should have knowledge of sensitive goods and perishable supply chain practices to provide excellent service to our clients while ensuring that all products are transported and stored according to industry best practices.
  • Follow-up with the customers for the payment



Preferred candidate profile

  • Any graduate (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years experience in selling the Reefer containers
  • exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English and in local language
  • Customer Centric
  • Target Oriented
  • Good understanding and updates for Trade is required
  • Good Negotiation skills -Ability to negotiate rates, terms, and conditions with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to get the best deals while maintaining profitability.
  • Should have good relationship with Shipping lines
  • Good Knowledge of commercials of all sectors for Reefer containers
  • Good knowledge of perishable products
  • Presentation Skills
  • Team Player
  • Expertise in data analysis, negotiation and strategy to increase business
