Solar Trainer

Roles and Responsibilities

DRF is looking for a trainer with experience in the Solar Panel Installation domain to deliver a course on Solar Panel Installation Technician. As a faculty, the candidate will get the opportunity to work on live industry-relevant projects and gain exposure to teaching, learning and development, guided by experts and professionals in the field of skill development. The individual at work checks the installation site, understands the layout requirement as per design, assesses precautionary

measures to be taken, installs the solar panel as per customers requirement and ensures effective functioning of the system post installation

• Following the predefined session plan while delivering training to the identified candidates who will be undertaking the course
• Developing skills and knowledge for self and incoming candidates on the identified subjects based on the curriculum that is designed
• Preparing learners to face interviews confidently
• Conducting concurrent assessments as per the plan to continue to measure the progress of the students
• Maintaining data with respect to training and related activities
• Participating in center activities (such as organizing Parents' meet, doing retention follow-up, collecting training feedback etc.) along with the other staff members to make the center successful

Desired Candidate Profile

Education qualification: Diploma in Electronics with at least 1-2 years of experience in Solar Panel Installation Technician

Work experience:1-2 years of Industrial or Trainer experience in Solar Panel Installation Technician

Technical skills:

• Knowledge about different Solar components, installation, assembly and basic maintenance
• Knowledge about site survey and layout requirement
• Must have hands-on experience in the installation and effective working of the solar panels, including working knowledge of basic electrical wiring, work procedures, and safety standards

Soft skills:

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Expertise in simplifying topics and working with students from marginalised backgrounds
• Ability to work with teams
• High problem-solving and time-management skills
• The individual must be willing to work in the field and travel through the day from one customers premise to another.
