Technical Project Manager - PHP/Node.js (5-8 yrs)

Qualifications & Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in technical project management within custom software development.

- Strong background in PHP, Node.js, React, and mobile app development.

- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

- Experience working with JIRA, Trello, or other project management tools.

Preferred Skills :

- Prior experience as a developer or technical lead in PHP, Node.js, or mobile development.

- Knowledge of microservices, API development, and database management.

- Experience managing distributed or offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Management & Execution :

- Oversee end-to-end software development projects, from requirements gathering to deployment.

- Develop project plans, roadmaps, and sprint schedules using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

- Ensure project milestones are met within scope, budget, and timeline.

- Identify risks, dependencies, and potential bottlenecks, and proactively mitigate them.

Technical Leadership :

- Work closely with development teams specializing in PHP, Node.js, React, and mobile technologies (iOS/Android, React Native, Flutter, or native development).

- Guide architecture decisions and ensure best practices in backend, frontend, and mobile development.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and system specifications.

- Ensure code quality, security, and scalability in custom-built applications.

Agile & Team Collaboration :

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

- Work with Product Owners, UI/UX designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder & Client Management :

- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.

- Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure alignment with company goals.

- Manage expectations and provide clear communication on project progress.
