Video Editor

Job Requirement:

We are seeking an experienced video editor. You will collaborate with our post-production team to transform raw material into a high-quality final product. You will be responsible for creating storyboards, producing short-form and long-form content, creating and adding graphics and animations, and adding music and special effects. A successful candidate will need to be able to work under deadlines, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with other production team members.

Responsibilities

A video editor with our company will have multiple responsibilities:

1. Edit video content for multiple outlets, including social media, YouTube.

2. Evaluate raw footage and review shot lists and storyboards

3. Use software to enhance video footage

4. Implement effective storytelling techniques

5. Suggest and implement appropriate special effects and music additions.

Qualification

1. Bachelors degree in film studies, production, video editing, visual effects, cinematography, graphic design, or a related field

2. Relevant work experience focusing in the post-production process

3. Proficiency with video editing software, including Adobe Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier. Working knowledge of upcoming AI tools.

4. Experience with digital video editing and graphic design.

2-3 years experience needed.
