Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Python Full Stack Developer with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying web applications and services. The the ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and Django, coupled with expertise in cloud infrastructure, databases, and modern development practices.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, following Agile methodologies, to build robust and scalable systems that meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python, Django, and related frameworks.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using dj-rest-auth for authentication and authorization.

- Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB for relational and non-relational data storage, ensuring optimized database performance.

- Implement search functionality using Elasticsearch to handle large datasets and support complex queries.

- Develop and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS services, including :

1. AWS SQS for messaging and decoupling microservices.

2. AWS Lambda for serverless computing and handling event-driven architecture.

3. AWS Secrets Manager for secure management of sensitive data like API keys & credentials.

4. AWS Step Functions for managing complex workflows and orchestration.

5. AWS S3 for scalable storage solutions.

- Contribute to the design and execution of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of applications.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Optimize applications for performance and scalability across various cloud environments.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application and database issues across development, test, and production environments.

- Follow Agile development practices, including participation in Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

- Use GitHub for version control, branching strategies, and code reviews, collaborating with the team to maintain high-quality code.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions to improve code quality and system design.

- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide feedback, and ensure alignment on development goals.

Key Requirements :

- 8-10 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on Python & Django.

- Expertise in RESTful APIs and dj-rest-auth for authentication and authorization.

- Extensive experience with PostgreSQL (relational databases) and MongoDB (NoSQL databases).

- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch for full-text search and data analysis.

- Proven experience with AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, Secrets Manager, Step Functions, S3.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools for automated deployments.

- Proficient in version control using GitHub, including branching strategies, pull requests, and issue tracking.

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies and working within Scrum teams.

- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and front-end integration.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex workflows.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across crossfunctional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.

- Previous experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

- Knowledge of AWS IAM policies and security best practices.
