About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manager to lead the Control Tower Operations at Medibuddy. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing cross-functional teams, driving automation initiatives, and implementing operational excellence across multiple business lines. You will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing real-time operations while ensuring high levels of service delivery through data-driven decision-making and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Control Tower Operations: Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the control tower, ensuring real-time visibility and operational control across all service lines.
Team Management: Build, train, and manage a high-performing team to monitor and respond to operational issues, escalations, and drive proactive measures.
Program and Project Management: Lead and manage multiple automation and process improvement projects, working with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, and operations) to streamline processes and reduce operational bottlenecks.
Automation: Implement automation initiatives to optimize workflows and increase operational efficiency.
Data Analytics: Leverage data analytics tools to monitor KPIs, generate insights, and provide solutions for improving efficiency and performance. Strong proficiency in SQL is required.
Problem Solving: Drive critical problem-solving initiatives by analyzing operational issues, identifying root causes, and implementing sustainable solutions.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with leadership, product teams, and external stakeholders to align operational strategies with business objectives.
Operational Excellence: Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in operational processes to enhance service levels, customer satisfaction, and reduce costs.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on operational performance, project status, and key metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree from a Tier 1 Institute (IITs, NITs, BITS, etc.).
2+ years of experience in control tower operations, program/project management, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of automation tools and hands-on experience driving automation initiatives in a business environment.
Proficiency in SQL and ability to work with large datasets for decision-making and reporting.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to perform deep data analysis and deliver actionable insights.
Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in resolving operational issues in real time.
Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing and mentoring teams, driving collaboration across functions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the healthcare, logistics, or e-commerce sectors.
Experience in using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar for data visualization.
Exposure to lean methodology, Six Sigma, or other process improvement frameworks.
