Technical Support Engineer- Hospital Information System- Kuwait

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

• Providing System support Services during Company working hours and after working hours(24x7 support) as may be required by the Company.
• Administering and ensuring continuous operation of the Health Information and related systems.
• Coordination with internal teams for the system maintenance and other activities
• Assisting the client in generating the required reports using SQL queries from the database.
• Assisting hardware engineers in resolving System related issues.
• Providing advice and information to users on System functions.
• Documenting details of all amendments made to the System.
• Providing technical and functional implementation Services during the implementation of a new release.
• Providing other support Services as instructed from time to time by the Superintendent.
• Testing the system compatibility with new OS release.
• Adherence to client internal policies.
• Coordination with INFOSEC team for system audit, risk assessment, vulnerability findings etc.
• Issue reporting to the vendor and maintain record of logged issues.

Qualification/Experience Job:

• B.Sc. in computer engineering/ computer science or related areas
• Proficient in Administrating Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and SQL Database Administration.
• Microsoft System Administration and ITIL certification.
• Adequate SQL knowledge and knowledge of programming is an advantage.
• MEDITECH HIS Training and Certification (Preferable)
• Minimum Six (6) years experience supporting Hospital Information Systems, related activities and experience in the System inclusive of participation in at least one successful implementation of System.
• Good interpersonal skills and amicable disposition
• Fluent in English and preferably knows Arabic as well.
