Engineer/ Sr. Engineer/ Mould Designer

1. Mould Conceptualization for the DFM Making.

2. CAD Modeling: Use CAD software to design the mould, ensuring precision and alignment with the product design. Tool will be NX for the Designing.

3. Design Optimization of the mold for better performance, cost-efficiency, and ease of manufacturing.

4. Choose Appropriate Materials for the mould base & other on the type of product being produced (e.g., steel for durability, life span & polishing type as per the component).

5. Compatibility with Product: Ensure the material is compatible with the intended production process and the products requirements (e.g., temperature resistance, corrosion resistance).

6. Detailing 2-D Drawings that include dimensions, surface finishes, and other specifications required for manufacturing the mold.

Professional Skills

1. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (NX), Mould Flow Analysis, and Mould DESIGN (2-Plate & 3-Plate Type), Hot runner usage in mould, Electrode Extraction as per the component requirement.

2. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot design issues and suggest practical solutions.

3. Attention to Detail: Precision in drawing and specification details.

4. Understanding of Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of various manufacturing processes like injection molding, die casting, and stamping.
