Database Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Regular DBA administration understanding including security / release / performance / Monitoring / backups and HA+DR closely
• Hands on exposure to configure, manage, monitor and troubleshoot large scale Always ON and Distributed Always On (DAG) environments.
• Hands on experience with Clustering platforms for large scale environment.
• Understanding of Migration and upgrade of various SQL server versions in place + other environment.
• Hands on experience with Replication technology including transactional replication and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding and hands on exposure to configure , manage, monitor and troubleshoot Log shipping environment
• Hands on experience on Performance tuning (including execution plans understanding) and best practices approach in terms of performance.
• Must have exposure at least one Cloud Exposure (Azure / AWS)
• Basic understanding of SSRS and reporting services.
• Should be able to handle 24 x 7 rotational support including night shifts.
• SQL server certified would be an added advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of SSIS package and SSIS services and catalogues will be an added advantage.
• Hands on experience on database coding like writing complex procedures & functions, drafting archival policy, performance optimization of database codes.
• Good understanding on Indexes, SQL Joins, Performance counters, wait types, statistics.
