Head - Accounting (5-7 yrs)

Head of Accounts - Finance Leadership Role.

Location: Bangalore, India.

Experience: 5+ years in Accounting & Finance (preferably in energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors).

A leading renewable energy company is seeking a Head of Accounts to drive financial management, compliance, and process optimization.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting standards, taxation, and financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop & implement financial controls, policies, and reporting systems (Ind AS, IFRS, statutory requirements).

- Oversee accounts payable, receivables, ledger management, and reconciliations.

- Manage taxation & audits (GST, TDS, Income Tax), ensuring compliance with regulations.

- Drive cost optimization, budgeting, and financial forecasting to support strategic decision-making.

- Lead & mentor the finance team, improving efficiency and financial processes.

Requirements:

- Education: CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

- Experience: 5+ years in accounting, compliance, and financial management.

- Tech Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle).

- Industry Background: Experience in renewable energy, power generation, or EPC preferred.

- Core Competencies: Strong leadership, financial planning, and compliance expertise.
