Job Description

We are looking for an experience technical leader to joinour team at Wadhwani Foundation to handle AI Initiatives. This role requires anexperienced senior candidate with expertise in designing and testing largescale AI systems, managing complexity in ambiguity, and demonstrating strongfamiliarity with how AI systems are built and scaled effectively andsecurely.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edgeAI products and drive the development of innovative products that solvereal-world problems in entrepreneurship. We have already launched Co-Pilots andtutors that are being used by students across India. Director AI will lead theinitiatives to infuse AI into every part of Wadhwani Foundation programs and work closely with product management team andprogram heads to work on initiatives that impact entrepreneurs across 20countries

As the Director of AI at Wadhwani Foundation, you will beresponsible for overseeing the design, project management of developmentthrough engineering team or external vendors, large scale testing across allscenarios, deployment, and optimization of our existing and new AI Productsincluding co-pilots, evaluators, agents, coaches and the platform. You willwork closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers,designers, and business stakeholders, to define the AI product vision, set the AIproduct roadmap, and ensure successful product launches. You will also beresponsible for monitoring the performance of AI models, identifying areas forimprovement, and driving continuous innovation.

AI Strategy and Roadmap:

Definean AI technical product Roadmap, own testing and monitor the performance of AImodels, identify areas for improvement, and driving continuous innovation.

Collaboratewith internal and external stakeholders to define and articulate AI product roadmap,strategy, testing and optimization

Conductmarket research, competitor analysis, and gather customer feedback to identifyproduct opportunities and areas for improvement.

PrioritizeAI enhancements based on customer needs and other objectives.

Writedetailed product specifications and collaborate with engineering and design toensure smooth Product Development and Launch:

Leadthe end-to-end product development process, ensuring timely and high-qualitydelivery of product features and updates.

Workclosely with engineering and design teams to translate product requirementsinto technical specifications and user-friendly designs.

Planand execute product launches, working with marketing and sales to ensuresuccessful go-to-market strategies.

Product Performance and Iteration:

Monitorthe performance of AI products and ensure low latency and high accuracy

Analyzeproduct performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvementand iterate on the Ai features in product as needed.

Continuouslymonitor market trends and industry developments to ensure the product remainscompetitive and aligned with market demands.

Provenexperience as a technical AI expert, preferably with a focus on designing,testing and scaling up [B2C/B2B] products .

Strongunderstanding of product development methodologies, user-centered design, andagile development practices.

Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to workcollaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Analyticalmindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed productdecisions.

Demonstratedability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and drive results asan individual contributor.

Passionfor technology, innovation, and staying abreast of industry trends.

User Experience and Customer Insights:

Deeplyunderstand customer needs, pain points, and behaviors through user research anddata analysis to convert into AI features.

Championthe advances AI user experience, advocating for customer-centric design andusability throughout the product development lifecycle.

Collaborateeffectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design,marketing, and sales, to drive successful product outcomes.

Presentproduct metrics and updates to stakeholders, including senior management, in aclear and concise manner.
