Assistant Director of India STEM Lab will play a key role in driving the sales and implementation of STEM lab setups in educational institutions across India
He will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery and installation of STEM lab solutions
Key Responsibilities
Identify potential clients and generate leads for STEM lab setups in schools, colleges, and other educational institutions
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market presence
Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase STEM lab solutions and their benefits
Negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, and close sales agreements with educational institutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in educational institutions
Oversee the planning and execution of STEM lab setups, ensuring timely and efficient delivery and installation
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to manage logistics, equipment procurement, and installation
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the STEM education sector
Participate in industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote the organizations STEM lab solutions and network with potential clients
Qualifications
Masters degree in Business Administration, Education, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience); Masters degree is a plus
10-15 years experience in sales, business development, or project management, preferably in the education or technology sector
Strong understanding of STEM education and lab equipment
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
Strong organizational and project management skills
