Cook/Chef . Italian & Mediterranean Cuisine

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Italian & Mediterranean Cuisine Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing authentic Italian and Mediterranean dishes, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of Italian and Mediterranean dishes, including pasta, risotto, pizzas, seafood, grilled meats, and fresh salads.
• Develop and execute menus that showcase authentic flavors while incorporating creativity.
• Ensure all food preparation meets hygiene and safety standards.
• Monitor kitchen operations, food inventory, and quality control.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain efficiency and consistency in food preparation.
• Train and guide junior kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and plating.
• Ensure cost control by managing ingredients, portion sizes, and reducing food waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Italian & Mediterranean Chef in a reputed restaurant or hotel.
• Strong knowledge of Italian and Mediterranean cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
