Job Description
- We are building MindsDB, an open-source explainable AutoML tool. We want to give everyone the ability to make informed predictions, using state-of-the-art ML models, with just a few lines of code.
- We re looking for an engineer that enjoys working remotely, contributing to open source, and playing around with machine learning.
- You will be part of our Machine Learning team, with a focus on improving, debugging, refactoring, and testing our ML library, but also the flexibility to take on other responsibilities when required.
- We are a startup, so we like people that can wear more than one hat
You should be
- Eager to understand things and experiment
- Good at working with minimal supervision in a remote environment
- Open to discussing, defending and deconstructing ideas
- Good at communicating in English, don t worry, you don t need to be a native speak or a poet.
- An overall good programmer, especially with Python 3
Ideally, you would also have some
- Understanding of machine learning and artificial neural networks
- Basic understanding of probability theory, Bayesian statistics, and linear algebra
- Experience working with Pytorch (or tensorflow), numpy, pandas, and sklearn
