- Technical Expertise:
- Deeply understand the technical aspects of our cloud offerings, including [list specific products/services, e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, specific cloud services].
- Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers.
- Conduct technical evaluations and proof-of-concepts to showcase the value and feasibility of our solutions.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in cloud computing, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Customer Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including IT decision-makers, technical architects, and developers.
- Proactively identify customer needs and challenges, and translate them into compelling business solutions.
- Address customer technical concerns and objections effectively, providing clear and concise explanations.
- Contribute to the development of customer-specific proposals and presentations.
- Sales Support:
- Collaborate effectively with sales representatives to develop and execute winning sales strategies.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial customer engagement to contract negotiation.
- Accurately forecast and track sales opportunities, and provide regular updates to management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar technical sales role.
- Proven experience with [list specific cloud platforms, e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP] and their core services.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, virtualization, and containerization.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer focus with a proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect).
- Experience with specific industry verticals (e.g., financial services, healthcare, retail).
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools.
- Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities
