Credit Manager - Education Loan Sector (1-4 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth analysis of education loan applications, including academic records, financial documents, and credit reports.

- Assess creditworthiness based on established criteria and risk parameters.

- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations.

- Stay updated on company lending policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.

- Utilize data analysis tools to identify trends and patterns in credit risk.

- Prepare accurate and timely reports on credit performance and risk metrics.

- Continuously evaluate and improve credit processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Identify opportunities for automation and streamlining workflows.

- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, etc.) to ensure smooth processing of loan applications.

- Maintain effective communication with applicants and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.

- 1-4 years of experience in credit underwriting, preferably in the education loan sector.

- Knowledge of financial analysis tools and techniques.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
