Linux System Administrator

Diadem Technologies - An ISO 27001 Certified Cloud Provider is having an opening for a Linux System Administrator to work from our Kolkata NOC at Sec - V, Salt Lake, Kolkata.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Effective technical support experience over phone/email

- Strong troubleshooting skills on Linux and Linux server administration.

- Able to install and manage LAMP stack on a server with multi-domain hosting

- Hosting control panel knowledge like Plesk, Cpanel, PHPMyAdmin is preferred.

- Linux mail server setup and management

- Website hosting support

- Basic knowledge of HTML / PHP syntax for troubleshooting.

- Manage DNS records types including MX records, A records, etc.

- Proactive with customer support and issue resolution in a quick and efficient manner.

- Production Support Troubleshooting critical and non-critical OS issues.

- Monitor everyday Servers and availability of all server resources and perform all activities for Linux servers.

Requirements

- Linux Systems Administration (RHCE preferred)
- Minimum 2-year experience in Linux system administration is required.
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently to resolve customer issues.
- Web Hosting knowledge with Plesk/Cpanel is expected.
- Willing to work in a 24*7 Environment

- Basic installation, server security, server monitoring

- Hands on experience in Bare Linux Servers & Mail Servers
- Desire to learn and improve Sysadmin and SysOps skills in a fast-paced environment.
