Consultant Job Description
Department: Strategy
Reports to: Engagement Manager
Job Summary/Objective:
- The Consultant is responsible for driving strategy engagements and leading day-to-day project activities for startup, health system, pharmaceutical and other Fortune 500 clients. This includes collaborating with Engagement Managers and guiding Analysts and Associate Consultants in conducting primary and secondary research, synthesis of research findings into strategic insight and developing client deliverables such as slide decks, quantitative analyses or other deliverables as required.
- Consultants play a key role in the day-to-day project execution, serving as the primary point person for planning research activities, driving client deliverables and serving as the liaison between Analysts and Engagement Managers.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Own day-to-day project management, slide deck development and coordination of deliverable completion.
- Develop and execute on primary and secondary research plans on clinical, scientifi technology and business topics.
- Coordinate and lead client, customer, provider and thought leader interviews.
- Conduct qualitative, quantitative and financial data analysis.
- Lead development of client deliverables, including slide decks, reports, protocols and other types of presentations as required for clients.
- Lead training efforts for Analysts and Associate Consultants on primary and researc slide deck creation and deliverable development.
- Interface with clients and own coordination/scheduling of client meetings and presentations.
- Develop thought leadership materials including white papers, blog posts and other research materials.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Additional Job Requirements:
- Some travel may be required for client engagements, company retreat(s) and conferences.

Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Sciences, Social sciences, Economics, Health Administration, or related fie.
- 3-5 years of experience working in a health care setting, management consulting or investment banking OR a masters degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Administration or related field and 2-3 years of experience in manageme consulting, digital health or healthcare innovation.
- Strong grasp of the US healthcare system, payment models and digital health landscape.
- Strong project management experience, demonstrated ability to set objectives to align with broader organizational goals, breaking down objectives into timelines and milestones, anticipating obstacles and developing contingency plans.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Strong executive presence and client management capabilities.
- Strong critical, strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Structured approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
