Information Security Lead

The Information Security Lead officer is responsible for assisting the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in overseeing the day-to-day Information Security operations .Information Security Lead will work with the Chief Information Security Officer to successfully develop, implement, and maintain Information Security Program. Assist the CISO in formulating and executing strategies to safeguard organizational assets from cyber threats. Dy. CISO will lead incident response, risk management and compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist CISO to develop and implement an effective information security strategy aligning with the company's business objectives.

2. Identify and assess security risks within the organization in real time and implement security measures to mitigate risks.

3. Have an in-depth knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and practices.

4. Advise on day-to-day security operations and incident response.

5. Demonstrate proficiency in risk management and incident response.

6. Possess strong leadership and team management skills.

7. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Demonstrate continuous learning and adaptability to emerging technologies and threats.

9. Raise security awareness throughout the organization.

10. Implement security measures to mitigate risks.

11. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to data security and privacy.

12. Educate staff in the organization on the best IT practices and regulatory requirements.

13. Mentor a team of professionals, providing them with guidance, support, and training, whenever necessary.

14. Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and best practices, and adapt the company's security strategy accordingly.

Requirements and skills:

1. A bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or related fields.

2. Proven work experience in risk management, information security.

3. In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, industry standards, frameworks, and best practices.

4. Understanding of scripting and source code languages.

5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and mitigate security risks.

6. Excellent project management and leadership skills.

7. Ability to communicate complex technical information to a range of audiences.

Preferred Certifications:

1. CISSP
