Account Manager

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Associate to lead our Accounts department and contribute to the growth of our organization. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in accounting and financial management, ideally in the FinTech, banking, or technology sector. You will oversee all accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Operations and Management:
• Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and audit functions.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and investors.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to
  safeguard company assets.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Lead the annual budgeting process, including revenue, expenses, capital expenditures, and cash flow.
• Prepare financial forecasts and provide insights to optimize financial performance.
• Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective actions to meet financial goals.
• Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the finance department.
• Develop training programs and initiatives to enhance the financial acumen of team members.
• Investor Relations:
• Act as the key point of contact for investors, including preparing board reports, presentations, and other financial communications.
• Participate in fundraising and capital raising efforts, including preparing financial models and projections for potential investors or partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education:
• Chartered Accountant
• Experience:
• At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounts
• Proven experience in managing complex accounting and financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements in the FinTech or financial services industry.
• Skills:
• Books of accounts, GST, TDS etc
• Expertise in financial reporting systems and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other executives and departments to achieve business objectives.
• In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP), and financial management best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
