FastAPI Developer (6+ Years Experience)

Are you a seasoned backend developer with a passion for building high-performance APIs? We are seeking a skilled FastAPI Developer to join our team.

As a Senior FastAPI Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and efficient APIs that power our applications. You will leverage your expertise in FastAPI and Python to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code.
• Implement robust data validation and security measures.
• Integrate APIs with various data sources and external systems.
• Optimize API performance and scalability for high-traffic applications.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to deliver seamless integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest FastAPI features and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in backend development using Python.
• Strong proficiency in FastAPI and its ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and concurrency in Python.
• Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with ORMs (e.g., SQLAlchemy, Pydantic).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.1

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience2 with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger, ReDoc).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Experience with security best practices for API development (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).
