Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD Pipeline Management:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Integrate AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy for automated deployments.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Automate infrastructure management using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Implement and manage AWS Elastic Beanstalk, AWS OpsWorks, and AWS Systems Manager.
Containerisation and Orchestration:
- Containerise applications using Docker.
- Manage orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS) on AWS.
Application Deployment:
- Deploy and manage applications using ArgoCD for Kubernetes.
- Utilize AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and AWS Fargate for serverless container management.
Monitoring and Logging:
- Monitor system performance and application health using Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, and AWS X-Ray.
- Set up and manage logging with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), AWS CloudTrail, and AWS CloudWatch Logs.
Collaboration and Security:
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Implement and manage security practices and tools such as AWS IAM, AWS KMS, AWS Shield, AWS WAF, and HashiCorp Vault.
Cloud Services Management:
- Configure and manage AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, and Route 53.
- Utilize AWS Auto Scaling, AWS Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), and AWS Direct Connect for efficient resource management.
Troubleshooting and Optimisation:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and scalability using AWS Trusted Advisor and AWS Cost Explorer.
Documentation:
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployments, and operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

4-5 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar position with a focus on AWS.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Golang.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Expertise in containerisation using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS).
Experience with deployment tools like ArgoCD.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, and ELK Stack.
Deep understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, Route 53, Auto Scaling, and ELB.
Knowledge of network concepts and tools, including HAProxy, Nginx, and Calico.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of service mesh technologies like Istio.
Familiarity with security tools and practices, including AWS IAM, AWS KMS, AWS Shield, AWS WAF, and HashiCorp Vault.
Understanding of GitOps principles and practices.
