Job Description & Responsibilities :

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer responsible for managing and optimizing the infrastructure that powers our platform, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate processes, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and ensure smooth deployment across various environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and optimize infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation and streamline deployment processes.

- Utilize cloud platforms like Digital Ocean and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible to achieve infrastructure automation and efficiency.

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using cloud technologies.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Ansible.

- Foster and support a DevOps culture, emphasizing automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

- Work closely with development, product, and QA teams to enhance system performance and optimize deployment pipelines.

- Implement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure, including patch management, vulnerability scanning, and access control.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and service disruptions.

Primary Skills :

- Linux (any distribution, but preferably RHEL, CentOS, AlmaLinux)

- nginx

- Ansible

- VMWare or Proxmox

- Security expertise (firewalls, WAF, security best practices)

- Cloudflare (or any other CDN)

- Strong organizational skills (scheduling, email management, follow-ups, documentation)

Secondary Skills (Preferred, Not Mandatory) :

- AWS & Kubernetes (Good to have)

- Experience with serverless architectures and microservices

- Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools (ELK Stack, Datadog, Splunk)

- Knowledge of database management & performance tuning (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)

- Experience with other configuration management tools like Chef or Puppet
