GCP DevOps Engineer

Position Name: GCP DevOps Engineer

Experience Required: 5-8 years

Location: Pune

Role:

• Overall 5+ years of experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in GCP.
• Should be able to implement landing Zones, deploy infrastructure with automation.
• Must be well versed with automation on cloud (both infrastructure and application deployments).
• Must have experience in migrating from on-premises/private/public cloud to GCP.
• Must be able to understand the networking and communication on GCP platform.
• Must have a good understanding of scrum/agile way of working.

Requirement:

• Experience in IaC Creating, deploying, configuring, and scaling applications on GCP server less infrastructure,
• Experience in implementation of Google Cloud Platform. (Google Cloud Platform -Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions etc.)
• Must have in depth knowledge on GCP build DevOps tool
• Must have in depth knowledge on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) managed services
• Must have in depth knowledge on provisioning GCP components using terraform
• Must have in-depth knowledge on automation using DevOps pipeline using terraform as IAC
• Experience in Kubernetes implementation GKE
• Knowledge of general programming languages and frameworks, in particular python and/or Java
• Excellent knowledge of Terraform for IaC
• General technology best practices and development life cycles such as agile and CI/CD
• 2 yrs+ work experience in Kubernetes or working knowledge
• Understanding of future-proof, complex global solutions using GCP services.
• Implementation and/or creation of foundational architectures, including microservice, event-driven and event streaming
• Excellent communication skills, being able to adapt according to the target audience
• Experience in Container technology, specifically Docker and Kubernetes, DevOps on GCP
• Google Cloud Associate Engineer Certification
