Role & Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
- Create utilities and automation scripts using Python and related frameworks (such as Django ) for various operational needs.
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance using tools like Prometheus .
- Proficient with DevOps paradigms and best practices, focusing on automation, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Kubernetes clusters, maintaining high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of infrastructure, software, and tools.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles, with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-based environments.
- Proficiency in configuration management tools like Chef or Salt .
- Strong experience in managing Kubernetes clusters and working with Kubernetes-related concepts.
- Expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins , ArgoCD , or Spinnaker .
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform for automating cloud infrastructure.
- Solid programming skills with Python and experience working with frameworks like Django .
- Experience in scripting (primarily Bash or Python ) for task automation.
- In-depth experience with Unix-like Operating Systems (BSD, GNU/Linux).
- Experience in metrics collection and monitoring using tools like Prometheus and familiarity with logging and alerting frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with development teams, ensuring operational excellence.
