EDM Developer

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented EDM Developer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on
streamlining development, testing, and deployment processes within our research-heavy
ecosystem. You will be responsible for implementing the Security Master functionality on the S&P Markit EDM platform, ensuring effective integration and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS
Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development
Expertise in EDM (Core, Advanced and UI)
Core Matcher experience is optional
Expert in SQL (SQL Server and Oracle)
Hands on experience of handling Bloomberg Data Feeds (SAPI, Per Security and
Backoffice)
Hands on experience of Git
Experience on Python and / or C.Net is a plus
Ability to build constructive working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders

GOOD TO HAVE
People management experience is a plus
Good Aptitude and problem solving skills
Desire to understand and work with data.

EDUCATION
Bachelors degree or masters in computer science, Engineering, Software Engineering
or a relevant field
