We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L2/L3 Networking Protocols Developer with a strong focus on Quality of Service (QoS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking protocols, a solid foundation in C/C++ programming, and a passion for delivering high-performance, reliable, and scalable networking solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance L2/L3 networking protocols, including but not limited to :

1. Ethernet, VLAN, STP, LACP, LLDP

2. IP, ARP, ICMP, IGMP, MLD

3. OSPF, BGP, IS-IS

4. MPLS, RSVP, LDP

- Develop and optimize QoS features, including :

1. Classification, marking, and policing

2. Queue scheduling algorithms (WFQ, PQ, SP, etc.)

3. Congestion control mechanisms

- Analyze and troubleshoot complex networking issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve problems.

- Collaborate with system architects, software engineers, and test engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and industry trends.

- Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements to our networking products.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- 6+ years of experience in L2/L3 networking protocol development.

- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.

- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and concepts.

- Experience with QoS mechanisms and algorithms.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong understanding of networking hardware and software architectures.

- Experience with network simulation tools (e.g., IXIA, Spirent).

- Familiarity with Linux and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl).

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with network processor architectures and SDKs.

- Knowledge of network function virtualization (NFV) and software-defined networking (SDN).

- Experience with network security protocols (e.g., IPsec, SSL).

- Contributions to open-source networking projects.
