Our Corporate Bank Technology team is a global team of 3000 Engineers (and growing!) across 30 countries. The primary businesses that we support within Corporate Bank are Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance and Trust & Agency Services. CB Technology support these businesses through vertical CIO aligned teams and by horizontals such as Client Connectivity, Surveillance and Regulatory, Infrastructure, Architecture, Production, and Risk & Control.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Participate & provide technical leadership to global spread team(s)
• Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
• Participate and contribute to code review, design sessions with other team members
• Continually help to improve the performance of the team regarding SDLC, QA, CICD and post release activities.
• Act as an expert on the platform in various capacities, strategy meetings, and product development opportunities
• Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
• Designing, developing and deploying modular cloud-based systems.
• Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
• Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
• Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.

Your skills and experience

Technology Skills:

• 14-17 years of technical and functional experience in Product Development with technologies such as: GoLang, Java, Spring boot, React JS, REST APIs, gRPC, Kafka.
• Hands on experience in one of the public Cloud Platforms: GCP, AWS or Azure.
• Good experience with DevOps : building CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins/GitHub actions, Good experience with Docker,Terraform.
• Good knowledge about designing and implanting nonfunctional requirements like Scalability, Security, Logging and Monitoring.
• Experience in building SaaS products will be added advantage.
• Progressive engineering hands on development experience to lead engineering teams.
• Strong Agile skills with running Dev Ops, IT Risk and control, SRE squads.

Team Management:

• Experience with people development with respect to training, upskilling, providing right opportunities within India and global squads.
• Promotes engineering culture and improves productivity amongst India FTE and vendor staff. Grooms and coaches the team providing proper career progression.
• Dynamic resource management and close collaboration with Corporate Bank (CB) global tribe/squad leads.
• Excellent skills and appetite to maintain risk & control hygiene. Streamline ITAO processes with automation.
• Will require broader promotion of people strategy activities within CB Tech India.

Stakeholder/Business Management:

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to work with India operations, EMEA/APAC business leaders.
• Knowledge in Banking Payment systems will be a huge plus.
