Agile Scrum Master

Role Description

The Employee Compliance Technology Programme is responsible for re-platforming legacy Compliance applications onto modern, scalable, cloud-ready technology.

The new GECCo platform (Global Employee Compliance Collective) will centralise all employee compliance tasks in Deutsche Bank, moving employees and Compliance to a self-service model, eliminating manual intervention, and improving data quality by ensuring it is consumed strategically from authoritative sources.

The Scrum Master is responsible for ensuring a team lives agile values and principles and follows the agreed processes and practices to allow the team to continually improve their performance.

This role is for someone who is a technologist first. The person is required to have hands on working knowledge of Java and related technology stack including front end, back end, database, etc.

Your key responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Demos, Retrospectives and daily stand-ups.
• Good team player over different geographies.
• Promote and coach healthy communication in and around the team.
• Hands-on software development
• Strong communication with stakeholders
• Take End to End responsibility from design to deployment through the environments all the way to production.

Your skills and experience

• Experience of working in an Agile Scrum team.
• Hands on development experience on Cloud based full stack application.
• Experience with end-to-end design and delivery of solutions
• Passionate about test driven development
• Proficient in Java full stack development (Java, Angular 8+, Spring Boot etc)
• Working knowledge of messaging (JMS, PubSub)
• Experience with Messaging and integration, Patterns, REST, SOA
• Strong hold on unit and integration testing
• Practices: Code Quality, Sonar, Veracode, Security, dev ops, Agile, CI & CD.
